Silver Reliquary with Relic of Saint Natalia of Nicomedia, Martyr + Ecclesiastical Document

An elegant and authentic silver reliquary containing a sacred first-class relic (Ex Ossibus – from the bone) of Saint Natalia of Nicomedia, early Christian martyr of the Diocletian persecution. Saint Natalia is venerated for her unwavering faith and devotion to her husband Saint Adrian of Nicomedia, and for her own sufferings endured for Christ.

The relic is visibly marked with a printed label reading: "S. Nataliae M.", and is set on red silk fabric behind protective glass. It is secured with original red silk threads and the intact red wax seal of the Church, confirming its authenticity.

This holy relic is accompanied by its original Vatican document of authentication, issued by Cardinal Costantino Patrizi, Vicar General of His Holiness Pope Pius IX, and dated 1859. The certificate bears the cardinal’s signature, embossed ecclesiastical seal, and Latin text verifying the relic’s origin and purpose for veneration.

Saint: Saint Natalia of Nicomedia (3rd–4th century), Martyr.

Relic Type: First-Class — Ex Ossibus (from bone).

Reliquary Size: 2.5 cm x 2.3 cm.

Material: Solid silver (tested, likely coin-grade silver typical of the period).

Seals and Threads: Original and intact.

Documentation: Original ecclesiastical certificate signed by Cardinal Patrizi (Vicar General of Rome, 1859).

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a fully certified 19th-century relic of a revered early Christian martyr, suitable for private devotion, ecclesiastical collection, or sacred display.
