A beautifully preserved significant relic of St. Jane Frances de Chantal, enclosed in an ornate metal theca reliquary with glass front, gilded decorative frame, and the original identification label “S. Chanta[l]”. The reverse side features the original red wax seal of the Church authority and a small suspension loop for devotional or liturgical use.
This sacred relic is accompanied by its authenticity certificate, issued in 1891 by Cardinal Lucidus Maria Parocchi, Vicar General of His Holiness and distinguished member of the Roman Curia. The document, bearing the Cardinal’s embossed episcopal seal and signature, officially confirms the authenticity of the relic according to the canonical norms of the Holy See.
Details:St. Jane Frances de Chantal was a noblewoman of Burgundy and the spiritual collaborator of St. Francis de Sales, with whom she founded the Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary in 1610. After the death of her husband, she dedicated her life to prayer, charity, and the service of others, becoming a model of gentleness and perseverance. Canonized in 1767, she is revered as the patron saint of widows and those in need of inner peace.
