Original Roman Catholic church document issued in Metz (France) in 1834 by Jacobus-Franciscus Besson, Bishop of Metz.


This official Latin certificate confirms the ecclesiastical promotion in minor orders of Franciscus Xaverius Bourguignon, who was examined and found suitable according to canonical regulations of the Catholic Church.


The document bears the printed episcopal heading:

“Jacobus-Franciscus Besson, Miseratione Divina et Sanctae Sedis Apostolicae gratia Episcopus Metensis.”
