Reliquary-monstrance with a huge part of the Cross of St. Andrew the Apostle (from the crucifixion of St. Andrew) + document of the Pletat - Archbishop of Orchid (Macedonia)

The part of the Cross of St. Andrew the Apostle is a significant piece of Wood (about 6 cm in diameter and about 2.5 - 3 cm thick). The part of the Cross is enclosed in a glass rosette of a metal (brass? bronze?) reliquary-monstrance. On the part of the Cross itself there is a silver plate with the inscription: S:TI ANDREAE APOSTOLI EX LIGNUM CRUCIS.

The reliquary is decorated with enamel on the front with the names of the 4 evangelists (with the symbols of the evangelists: St. Matthew as an angel, St. Mark as a lion, St. Luke as a calf, St. John as an eagle), stones (I don't think they are precious), and on top there is a royal orb with a cross, symbolizing the globe and royal power. The base is decorated with grape leaves with stones.

Reliquary height: 60 cm, socket diameter 7.5 cm.

Authentic relic with a declaration of the relics of bishop. All seals are intact.
