Natalia of Nicomedia (beginning of the 4th century) is a Christian martyr, the most famous saint of this name, the wife of the martyr Adrian of Nicomedia. In the Christian Church, this martyr has a special status - she is one of the bloodless martyrs (that is, a martyr who died not from the shedding of blood (torture, execution), but from internal mental and heart suffering).

Traditionally, the martyr Natalia of Nicomedia is depicted on icons with a scroll in her hands. On the scroll are written the words: “Let everything that is worldly, corruptible and harmful to the soul disappear from your mind.”
